If your day is packed and you hate long routines, you don’t need ten products. A minimal, smart routine can still keep your skin healthy.
Morning, think in three steps: cleanse, moisturise, protect.
Use a gentle face wash that doesn’t leave your skin squeaky and tight. Immediately after, apply a moisturiser suited to your skin type—gel for oily, light lotion for normal, creamier one for dry. Then comes the non-negotiable: sunscreen. A broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, applied in enough quantity, is one of the best anti-ageing and anti-pigmentation products you’ll ever use.
Night can be even simpler. Cleanse again to remove the day’s sweat, dust, and sunscreen. If you’re too tired for anything else, at least moisturiser lagao. That alone supports your skin barrier, reduces dryness and calms irritation.
If you want one “extra” product, pick something that matches your main concern: a mild retinoid for ageing/acne, vitamin C for brightness, or niacinamide for oil control and redness. Use it at night under moisturiser.
The key is consistency, not complexity. A three-step routine followed daily beats a 10-step plan you abandon after one week. Your skin mostly wants regular care, gentle handling, and less random experimentation.
