Garmi ke dino me body literally survival mode me aa sakti hai, especially jab humidity bhi high ho. Dehydration, heat exhaustion, aur heat stroke serious issues hain—sirf “thoda sa garm lag raha hai” wale problems nahi.
Pehle sign usually subtle hota hai: thakan, light headache, chakkar, dry mouth, dark urine, irritability. Aage chal ke cramps, nausea, confusion, high temperature tak ja sakta hai.
Prevention ka basic formula: paani + shade + sensible timing. Din bhar thoda-thoda water sip karo, sirf tab nahi jab bohot pyaas lage. Agar tum bahar kaam karte ho, to maximum heat (dopahar) me direct sun exposure se jitna ho sake bacho, breaks lo, shade ya indoor me thoda cool down karo.
Sugary sodas aur extreme caffeinated drinks hydration ka ideal source nahi—wo kabhi-kabhi aur dehydration push kar sakte hain. Simple water, ORS, nimbu paani, chaach type options better rehte hain.
Kapde loose, light-coloured aur breathable fabrics ke rakho, head cover (cap/dupatta) outdoor me helpful ho sakta hai.
Agar koi person confused lag raha ho, baat dhang se na kar pa raha ho, behoshi ki taraf ja raha ho, bohot high temp aur hot skin ho – ye emergency heat stroke ke signs ho sakte hain. Waha turant medical help ke saath cooling measures (shade, wet cloths, fan) urgently zaruri hain.
